Toad the Wet Sprocket is still making new music and touring with the same spirit of unwavering independence that started it all over three decades ago. They continue to support their most recent release, Starting Now (2021), as well as their previous album New Constellation (2013), and EP The Architect of Ruin (2015). The band has 5 worldwide studio albums and an extensive history of tours, film & tv placements and over 130 million streams. Their debut album certified platinum back in 1997, while the radio classic "sex and candy" spent a record15 weeks at #1 on the billboard modern rock chart. although the album was largely known for that hit it actually sparked a total of 3 charting singles including "Sherry Fraser" and "saint joe on the school bus"- all 3 of which were also mtv and vh1 favorites. their sophomore album, Shapeshifter, also produced a billboard modern rock charting single "it's Saturday". |
Marty StuartJoin us June 24 for Marty Stuart & his fabulous superlatives. Country Music Hall of Famer, five-time Grammy-winner, and AMA Lifetime Achievement honoree Marty Stuart picks up where he left off on Altitude, his first new album in five years, exploring a cosmic country landscape populated by dreamers and drifters, misfits and angels, honky-tonk heroes and lonesome lovers. There’s a desert flare to the music here, a sweeping, spacious feel that conjures up wide-open horizons and endless stretches of two-lane highway, and the production is raw and cinematic to match, tipping its cap both to Bakersfield and Laurel Canyon as it balances jangle and twang in equal measure. While it would be easy for an artist as accomplished as Stuart to rest on his laurels, Altitude instead showcases the work of a searcher with an insatiable appetite for growth and reflection, one whose ambition, much like his keen wit and rich imagination, only seems to grow with each and every release. |
George thorogood & The destroyersJoin us July 22 for George Thorogood and The Destroyers. They broke records with their 50 Dates/50 States Tour, delivered landmark performances at Live Aid and on SNL, and became mainstays of radio, MTV and stages worldwide for more than two generations. Through it all, they’ve remained one of the most consistent – and consistently passionate – progenitors of blues-based rock in pop culture history.
